While the Princeps Group of Companies includes over 100 experienced business professionals around the world located in offices in the United States, Africa, China, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, the oversight of the companies and their shareholder’s interests are managed by the following executives:
Dirk A. Wray – Founding Partner and Executive Managing Director
Mr. Wray is an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully raised in excess of $2 billion of private debt and equity capital since 1984. He has been responsible for the formation and successful operation of over 40 companies located in Europe, Asia, Africa, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and North America.
Mr. Wray’s talent is in developing and leading large scale acquisitions and new ventures many of which are located internationally. Within these ventures, he initially contributes his skills and experience to the venture in order to assemble the management team and get the business going in the right direction. These skills include: capital formation, executive recruitment, banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate strategy, organizational leadership and cultural development. To date, he has developed business in the following industry sectors: energy; hospitality; commodity trading; agriculture; media; advertising; real estate; health care; internet; shipping; and, logistics. His modus opperandus is directed toward ventures that he wishes to own in his portfolio.
Mark M. Mitroka – Managing Director
Mr. Mitroka is an experienced executive who has specialized in M&A, banking and corporate finance for a number of private companies and service companies over the past 16 years. In addition to holding board and officer positions with these companies, he has been responsible for over $250 million of closed M&A transactions and for securing in excess of $600 million in private debt and equity capital. Mr. Mitroka serves as a member of the management committee for the Princeps Groups of Companies and is responsible for corporate budgeting, external and internal reporting, corporate compliance and the day-to-day business management of the subsidiary companies. He has formerly held positions with several private companies and with the Lincoln Financial Group and KPMG Peat Marwick.
